Airport Pick Up + Hotel Check In

As your flight approaches the Algarve, be captivated by the breathtaking views of the Ria Formosa lagoons, where sandy bars blend seamlessly into the indigo-blue sea—one of the 7 Natural Wonders of Portugal. Upon arrival, your private chauffeur will be waiting at the airport arrivals area, holding a sign with your name. You will then be taken directly to your chosen accommodation for check-in.

Start your day in Salir, a quaint village nestled in the hills of the Barrocal Algarvio. Visit a traditional cheese dairy dedicated to producing Algarve’s fresh goat cheese. Here, you’ll have the unique opportunity to learn about the entire process and even make your own cheese. If you’re feeling adventurous, you can try your hand at milking the goats!

No visit would be complete without tasting fresh goat cheese drizzled with honey. Continue your journey to Alte, another charming village, where you’ll sample more local delicacies, including traditional sweets and homemade liqueurs.


Prestigious Wine Tasting

After enjoying lunch at a traditional restaurant, continue your day with a visit to Tôr, a charming village nestled in the Algarve Hills. Here, you’ll explore a local winery and learn about the fascinating history and process of wine production.

Naturally, the visit includes a tasting of Algarve wines, allowing you to savour their unique flavours while admiring the stunning mountain views.

ALENTEJO

Venture into the southern Alentejo, a region of breathtaking beauty, characterised by sweeping plains of golden wheat, picturesque whitewashed villages, and iconic cork and olive trees.

Experience the richness of this region with visits to local vineyards and olive groves, and savour the distinctive flavours of its famous sheep’s milk cheese.



Day 3

Largest Olive Grove In Portugal

We depart from the Algarve and head towards Beja, the capital city of Baixo  Alentejo (South Alentejo). Note: Baixo is pronounced bai-sho.

Your morning begins with a visit to Quinta do Marmelo, the largest olive grove in Portugal. Here, you’ll discover how Azeite Oliveira da Serra, one of the most prestigious olive oils in Portugal and the world, is produced. Renowned for its exceptional quality, Alentejo olive oil is a must-try experience that you simply cannot leave without tasting.


Beja & Traditional Sheep´s Cheese Factory

Head to Beja, the capital city of Baixo Alentejo, where you’ll enjoy a traditional lunch featuring all the local delicacies. Afterward, take some free time to explore the historic town centre at your own pace.

The day continues with a visit to a traditional sheep’s cheese factory, where you’ll learn how one of Portugal’s most renowned cheeses is made. Naturally, the experience wouldn’t be complete without a tasting before we depart!
