This nearly 4-hour activity begins with a guided tour of the renowned Bolhão Market. Here, you’ll handpick the freshest seasonal ingredients under the chef’s expert guidance. Immerse yourself in the sights and sounds of this vibrant market as you select the key components of your Portuguese culinary masterpiece.

Following the market tour, you’ll head to a special cooking session with stunning views of the Douro River. During the class, you’ll learn how to blend modern techniques with traditional cooking methods to create authentic Portuguese flavours.

Once your dish is ready, you’ll savour the fruits of your labour, paired perfectly with a glass of local wine. It’s an experience that will delight your taste buds and leave you with skills to recreate the magic at home!

Today is yours to enjoy however you please! We’re here to assist if you’d like us to arrange something special, but for now, we invite you to start your day with the delicious breakfast prepared at your hotel.

Your guesthouse is conveniently located in the heart of the town, making it the perfect base to explore the city streets or stroll along the river. If you’re looking for unique experiences, we’d be delighted to help you book a Wine Tasting, a Classical Music Concert at Casa da Música, or even a Hot Air Balloon ride offering breathtaking views of the city.
